Ghost Circle

A Ghost Circle is a place that is between the Dreaming and Nothingness. Its invisible, so you can't see if you're going to step in one unless your dream eye is unusually open, like dragons or Veni-Yan-Cari. Unformed Ghost Circles are, as Thorn explains, a "cold spot where a chill runs up your spine". Originally, it was belived that formed Ghost Circles make anything that touches them cease to exist, however it was later revealed that those who touch them are simply trapped inside them, in a ghost-like state, which is apparently very painful. Thorn Harvestar, a Veni-Yan-Cari, has the ability to walk inside Ghost Circles without any harm. This may be because she tore off a peice of the Locust and kept inside her, or because she is a Veni-Yan-Cari in general.
